this is really nice art but it really bothers me how massively sexualised fiona is compared to..the whole rest of the poster

Really? Turning a blob of purple lumps into a pretty boy isn't sexualizing him?Β
I always like to check out my commenter's galleries when they've been offended by my work, to see who is casting the first stone as it were, and I must say, if you're worried about the sexualization of fictional women, you should probably not be drawing those underaged girls in bikinis or the dakimakura either.
I aged Fionna up here so it was clear this wasn't an underaged girl at the very least.

not sure what this has got to do with anyone being underage or what's sexual about girls at the beach dressed in their attire from the original shows, or how the dakimakura sexualises the character at all, but alright

Dakimakura are hugging pillows, originally intended for otaku to hug in place of a real woman (and I use the term "hug" generously), your drawing on the dakimakura is of an underaged girl writhing in the sheets , if you cant see how that sexualizes a woman, a child no less, and think that this does simply because I admitted woman have boobs that show under shirts, you're beyond my worth in rationalizing with.
People need to learn there's a difference between sexy and sexualized or they end up social justicing over non issues like this.

Seeing as how you've drawn several blatant panty shots, I'll assume that, as an artist, you understand that sometimes you want to draw a character being sexy. But-
example: fav.me/d6od47w
Now, we both know the nature of the show, but the argument here is artistic intention. You can't tell me there was NO other way you could draw her being cute/playful with her sword without doing an ass/panty shot pose?
example: fav.me/d4a7l93
Again, you could have drawn her in any other pose, but the panty shot is the one you chose.
example: fav.me/d60a44x
And then this image in your scraps that you drew- the pose and clothing are WAY more sexualized than you claim Fionna is; not to mention that you used Slugbox's artwork as a reference? I hope that if you're bugging Media about her interpretation of Fionna that you're claiming the same about ANYTHING in Slugbox's gallery. I'm not hating on Slugbox at all; but I'm making a point that you're picking your battles rather oddly and that this is pretty much you having double standards on what is/isn't sexualization(especially with all the pics that you've fav'ed that are FAR more sexualized than your claim of Fionna here).
I got nothing against you personally; I just think this wasn't the best image to toss a "massively sexualised" accusation at and it's really not going to work in your favor as an artist if you block people who try to defend themselves( rather kindly, at that. Media's a great person and was only trying to educate you on her point of view and why your accusation had no traction on this piece).
