Description
A little work for an old friend who wasn't very specific in what he wanted. Just a dark, gritty atmosphere and environment with an epic scale to it.So here we have a random chain across an active volcano with a giant phoenix rising from the magma glaring down at some barely visible poor soul standing on the rocks.
Also amazing that I finished something. Seems I hardly do anything anymore.
And I am going to be using that Meerin.deviantart.com watermark more often due to some recent issues. I think it adds to it anyway

I love how although the phoenix is a fire bird you've still shown what looks like fiery feathers!
I love that it's positioned in a place where it's still the main focus and yet the background is equally important.
and damnit I love the colours!
