In our character design class we each made our villians, but our assignment was to draw someone elses. This is the evil pope that I had to draw... well my own design for the guy.Did the whole "drawing" in about 40 minutes then played with color and stuff for a totaly of about 3 hours this morning.

This reminds me a little of a character from Magic: The Gathering ([link] ). I like it a lot, especially with the purple vapor behind him, and his staff floating at his side.

What card is that? he looks oddly familiar but the recent orzhov stuff has clouded my idea of evil religeous guys.
This old school assignment could have been done better. But we had to design our own version of someone elses class designed character. I think mine at this time was some sort of were/demon thing. It was actually a fun assignment.

It's Mikaeus the Unhallowed, formerly Mikaeus: The Lunarch in the Innestrad card set. Before he died, he was the leader of the church...just like the pope.
I had a similar assignment once. We had to write a description of a monster, give it to another classmate, and see how well they could draw it. Was definitely fun.
