When I first started drawing on Deviant Art it was Princess Midna that often came to mind. Right now in my scraps, and in the early parts of my gallery from 5 years ago, Midna is there. She shows my progression from pen and paper, to microsoft paint, to photoshop with a mouse and photoshop with a graphics tablet. Searching for images of her also led me to DeviantART in the first place. I remember finding beautiful drawings by amazing artists, and I wanted to try it to.She is also by far the best Zelda character I have experienced, and it is also terribly saddening that the chances of her ever returning in a new game are... very bad. But she will always be one of the best Zelda characters in history I believe, she definately caught my interest when watching her character develop, her transformation, calling Zelda the Twilight Princess (I honestly thought that was just a name for Zelda until we find out the truth at the broken mirror). If there was any desired effect the developers wanted to give their players with this character, I think I had it.

Thanks! Yeah I just wanted to show both her forms in some way and the mirror up top closes the image together nicely and also serves as a bit of a timeline from imp to princess to breaking the mirror

Midna is my ultimate favourite Zelda character, but for some reason I find her really hard to draw :U you drew both forms perfectly though!

I think for me its her eyes, eyebrows and cape that are the hardest. A good strat is to draw just the body first, but I normally don't do this because I'm lazy haha but for full body images it will make the cape easier, you just draw it on top.
The eyes... I find anime style suits her more as her actual in game model eyes are HUGE.

Hehe, yeah, I've never actually tried drawing her true form, because I'm scared it'll go wrong! X3 I'll have a go at it soon, though. It's mainly imp Midna I try drawing because she's the one I love most
