Description This is a photo of my dog, Bonnie, also taken on my first roll of film in an SLR. The dog is a border collie crossed with a blue cattle dog. Brightness, contrast and levels done in gimp. Scanning, title and random help from Ben @newklear .

This photo is dedicated to Ben for his deviantART birthday, today is one year since he joined deviantART and if it were not for that then I may never have met him It's also a congratulations to him on being the first person to reach 50, 000 shouts on a single account.

beautiful shot of puppy - dog shots are always good in my opinion. Her (? ...Bonnie ) expression seems bored, wanting to know why she isnt sleeping; and then also intrigued by her owner pointing a camera at her... I could look into her eye forever

It reminded me of my dog after she's puffed out from a run, and that is always a good thing

It's beautiful...I'm usually not a fan of dog photos for some reason...but this one totally does it.
It works...it's artistic lighting coupled with the dog's pose...it's soft...but hard...it's...I dunno...something I can't place! It's awesome though.

Thank you for the beautiful dedication babe, it means alot that you would submit something for me

I told you when you first showed me I absolutely love it, and my feelings haven't changed. Hope this isn't the last shots you take, because I can see alot of potential hiding inside waiting to jump out and create works with the likes of *kittynn , *disguy2k , `adam1975 and *x-horizon . Absolutely beautiful

That's a gorgeous dog. It's great that you captured him looking away from, rather than at, the camera. On a technical note, I'd like to see the background the same colour as the border - just sticks out a bit to me. But that can be done in Photoshop - I'll have to show you some of my tricks sometime.

Nice work.
