Here is page two in color of the two-page submission I did for Proverbs and Parables. I might also add that the effect of working in Corel creates a result similar to the way Mucha's prints were often done--as flat color, not with shading. It's also similar to Japanese prints made at the same time period, by artists like Hokusai. I like the effect, myself, and the challenge of making the blended colors work.Related content

The line that always gets me is "...in her tongue is the law of kindness."

It's an interesting turn of phrase. Instead of saying "in her tongue is instruction" or "in her tongue is reproof" it's "in her tongue is the law of kindness." Kindness is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit, too. It's something everyone wants and needs, but gets forgotten too often, especially as we are so busy looking out for our own needs and wants.

I like that you used Sarah up at the top right, there. That is Sarah, right?

Actually she was just supposed to represent a pioneer woman who was still able to have children even in her older years (past 50). If you look behind her, there are plowed wheat fields, representing the fertility of her and her livelihood.
But I suppose it could represent Sarah, in a way.

No worries! I was trying to represent women from different races, ethnic backgrounds and ages. Doesn't bother me if you saw something different as well.
