Very much so- I started looking for the dvds, snagged two of them. Capers, comedy and lots of it.

cool. my favorite character in it is goemon and jigen.

i love the comedy in it too. the plots of the episodes are awesome and i love the soundtracks.^^

I definitely like the characters, with Jigen, Lupin and Zenigata being my favorites. 

If you haven't already, you should check out The Castle of Cagliostro.

Indeed. His theatrical film debut.  I know he direct a few Lupin episodes as well- like Albatross: the Wings of Death.

He's directly one last film, then I hear he's retiring.....


That being said, I think his son, Goro and Studio Ghibli will be able to continue the legacy he started. Have you seen From Up on Poppy Hill?

I support *you*, Inspector! You *got* to have *your* own show (a +12 rated one) where you finally catch that law-ignoring, perverted thief Lupin and his gang. I can't wait to see him and Fujiko cry like a pair of spoiled babies, while Jigen and Goemon (rid of their Magnum and Zantetsuken) do their best to cover their ears with the faces turning red.

And if I boldly advise, you need a female assistant to help you catch them *and* light a fire of romance together. Picture it: Job well done, the girl says goodbye and turns around, but you catch her with your handcuff bola and passionately kisses her - just like in the poster of GONE WITH THE WIND!
