yknow, ive discovered the joys of working in layers traditionally. start with a basecoat of color, add a tone, then ink it, its fun! id reccomend everyone trying it.Related content

oh you so clever mr. Gilbert, with yer layering and pitchers of good drawings with things in them that are entertaining. And to think I only thought about layers in photoshop

that is a cool effect.. what kind of ink do you use? I've had bad luck with ink on prismacolor in the past

ahh, its just prismacolor pens, and when it dried, i went over it with a ballpoint pen.

oh.. i was using the pencils.. pens would make more sense!

yeah, i advise every artist to get them, youll completly rethink markers alltogether. bit pricy, but really worth it.
