That is so true that Im going to fave it right now so all the anime fans can gawk at it and think aaaaallll they want. But they cant TOUCH Zim.

I LOVE ANIME! But...Its too hard to draw Zim in anime style..Its hard for me to draw him period, but at least I try to copy the original design. Besides the anime Zim is too tall..I like my short little zim....However that doesn't mean I don't like some anime Zim pics,check my favs theres a tone of them in there.

My computer is back...but the pic is lost forever to my friend who madly exclaimed ZADR and tackled it from me... She erased the gun and put captions! OH THE CAPTIONS! It makes me feel sick to my poor squeedilyspooch...of which I don't have because humans don't have these things called squeedilyspooches

no prob... err... ZADF is way off from ZADR. i'll admit, in some gay universe ZiM and Dib could do whatever ZADRists have them do in their stories... but THIS universe isn't THAT universe so it's kind of hard to really put it into a comfortable perspective... besides...

I think I read somewhere that Invader Zim was anime INFLUENCED.
When you watch it, sometimes the background goes to nothing but all straight lines when a character is running toward or away from something or attacking somebody. They do that in anime too. (I think it just looks like the artist was in too much of a hurry to find out what would happen next to draw a decent background. )
But I agree, why would anybody want to draw the characters anime if they weren't anime to begin with? Also I don't really like anime, so the show's original style is good for me!

Frankly, who cares? Anime=cartoons. I love anime, but I know that it is, in fact, cartoons. And if they want to draw in that style, it's not my problem, and I'm not going to make it mine.

True, but some styles just weren't meant to meet the anime style. The Jhonenesque style itself is just as unique as Anime, and while some people find the ZiM style hard to master, it's still a bit strange to see ZiM, Dib, ect. drawn in such a style. I will admit, if someone cannot find themselves able to draw invader ZiM in its original style, I'll gladly support them to draw the desired character the only way they know. Now, if they don't even try to draw him and the other characters in their style, THAT is where I have to draw the line. If they try it a few times and at least experiment with it, they may be able to understand why most fans don't see it in the Anime style. As you can plainly see from the picture I drew, I do in fact draw IZ, and I will admit to have just started to try to inforce a new style onto the IZ world. I cannot call it Anime, but it resembles something along the lines of a more realistic figure, rather the large heads matching a normally sized head and instead of hair-thin arms and legs, more full and 'human' like figures. The way I describe it here makes it sound like a monster, to me anyways, but it looks fairly interesting when viewed personally.
