Description
In JRR Tolkien Lord of the rings, Minas Tirith was a great city built by the Númenor refugees. Formerly known as Minas Anor, was called by that name after the capture of Minas Ithil by the Nazgul, a "City of Kings", as was also called. It is a beautiful fortress south of Middle-earth, where lies the King of Gondor or the Regent.I always wanted to draw Minas Tirith, I hope you enjoy and please comment on, any comments are welcome and answered with pleasure.

Thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately I do not know of any image as you want. But I have an idea that might help, this drawing I made, I used as a base, a frame from a scene of the movie , you might as well get some good image using this feature.

Vlw! teve um lance engraçado com esse desenho, pra faze-lo eu fiquei com o filme parado e desenhando olhando pra tela da tv, e toda hora o dvd abria a tela de proteção...q raiva q eu passei mano. No fim, quando eu ja tava terminando o desenho, meu irmão chegou em casa e me deu a ideia de botar o dvd no computador e dar um print screen na cena q eu queria, mas ai ja tinha se passado horas d muita raiva. hehe.

realmente é péssimo quando agente tem um trabalhão pra fazer algum desenho, e depois que agente acaba alguém vem falar que tinha um jeito mais fácil de se fazer.

Sei o q vc quer dizer, é Helm's Deep, Helm's Deep é um refugio onde o povo de Rohan busca protecção em tempos de guerra. Isengard é onde fica a torre de Saruman. Realmente ficou parecido visto desse ângulo, os dois locais tem em comum estarem entalhados na montanha e as altas muralhas. Pra dizer a verdade, todos os cenários de LOTR ficaram fantásticos, uma de minhas pretenções futuras é reproduzir todos em desenho.

Wow, what a great detail again you made! Yea, i always admire LOTR illustration, wish someday can draw as marvelous and detail as them. But, maybe i have to passed you first! Hehehe...

Well, i do like shading or coloring a pic, but i think i have to use a lot of effort to draw a very detail outline like yours! If i did, i'll just draw it about one or two for along time, not like you who can draw one in a week. Maybe i dont as like detail as you like. Hmm.. Or maybe i just wanna do the easiest thing. 
However, i do admire your detail outline, it inspire me to draw better.

I read the book about 6 years before they do the movie, and I wondered how would be the city, trying to recreate it from the description of the author, already thinking of a way to draw it. Meanwhile the film has come, and when I see what they did, I found quite appropriate and finally realized my will.
The funny fact is that I was pausing the movie to do the drawing, when my brother came to visit me and saw this, he asked me why I was just not looking for a picture on the Internet. Needless to say, I felt somewhat foolish.

I did something similar. When I was young(er) I used to love a cartoon called "Wacky Races" and I used to get some grease-proof paper (because it was nearly see-through) and hold it on the TV screen and try and draw the cars as they went past. Needless to say I was never successful. My mother got so fed up of watching me with grease-proof paper on the TV that she bought me a book about "Wacky Races" and I could draw the characters whenever I liked. Now THAT was foolish!! .... but it did mean I got a book out of my mother.

Wow I love wacky races too, above all the purple, rocket-powered car of Dick Dastardly and Muttley, is always good to remember these moments of our childhood.
