The third task of the - the Wardrobe task! Uploaded early because I wanted this to be a b-day upload: the 21st of June is Caleb's unofficial birthday. Also, the picture quality is unexpectedly low. No details for me, apparently. :')

Descriptions:

Outfit 1: 'Gardener' casual
Consists of a loose, white linen shirt and a neat, sleeveless purple jacket. Caleb's favorite color is either purple or magenta, and these are the colors he wears most often. His boots are made of supple, water-resistant leather. He prefers wearing high-waisted pants that make his legs look longer; his favorite pair is a bright, summery yellow that matches his straw hat. He loves colors as long as everything fits together neatly He's a fashionable guy by Holorian standards, and he delights in casually dressing up.

Outfit 2: Standard HGA uniform
The standard uniform of the Holorian Grand Army (HGA) consists of a coarse leather vest worn on top of a long, linen shirt and pair of loose linen trousers, held together by a sturdy belt made of boar leather. The standard boots are knee-high and made of the same material. He also got outfitted for an extra weapon holder, which allows him to carry his staff on his back when travelling. He goes through a couple of staffs over the course of the story, but the gemstone always remains the same one.
Caleb does not enjoy the standard uniform. It's boring, it's heavy, it smells. He tried accessorizing with scarves and flowers (as he is prone to do) but it quickly earned him the nickname 'Target Practice' amongst his peers. Eventually, 'Target' becomes more of an affectionable monicker, but the first few months of his service as a medic-assistant were Not Fun.

Outfit 3: 'Gardener-turned-Medic' casual
After becoming a full-time medic, Caleb gets to choose whether he wants to don the standard uniform, and his answer to wearing the uniform is a clear "No thank you." Instead, he returns to his high-waisted pants, cleaner, cotton shirts, and his assortment of scarves. Red is easiest to work in though. (Blood splatter is less visible on reds). He does keep his army boots however, as they are practical and have grown quite comfy. He also starts wearing gloves, which are shown in his 4th outfit.

Outfit 4: 'Medic-turned-Mage' casual
Caleb goes fashionably practical by wearing a long, tailored, white button-up shirt with shiny iron buttons and a sturdy deer-skin belt with shiny iron clasps. His trousers are made of felted wool, dyed a mossy green. His boots still are water proof and made of sturdy boar leather, tied to his calves with silk from recycled scarves. Of course, Caleb does not go without a scarf draped across his shoulders either, but he's less antsy about having his neck uncovered. The scarf depicted in this particular image is made of an old HGA banner.
At this stage of the story, he mostly starts putting leafs in his hair, ranging from oak to hazel to ferns to bramble (though the latter is reserved for particularly moody days).

Outfit 5: Formal
A green, flowy dress embroidered with golden willow leafs and tiny glass beads that reflect nicely in the right lighting; he wears some minimalistic jewelry made of spun gold, too (the gold once was part of some loot that was given to him as payment - he tries not to think about its origins too much). The dress is perfectly tailored to Caleb's build, and is laced tight at his back. He has a matching scarf that is decorated both with willow leafs made of fabric as well as real willow leafs. To fiish it off, Caleb's actual flower crown consists of willow roots, leafs, and an abundance of blooming sage.
Though Caleb is quite flashy when it comes to his sense of fashion, he doesn't particularly enjoy crowds. In this particular depiction he's spotted someone he recognizes but is too awkward to actually wave, so he just hopes his friend spots the tiny willow leaf he's moving around instead.

Some more notes on the Formal dress: I was finished with Wardrobe approximately 2 weeks before the task would start, but about a week later Caleb decided he wanted a different dress (thanks Jisoo). I told him 'no.' And then my gf was like 'allow me to explain fashion design in a language you understand: semiotics.' And then I was like: 'I want that, and also, I will reread Barthes'. And then Caleb was like: 'So about that dress--- How about a willow and sage theme?' The rest is history.
