You are right, east asian style dragons look super cool here. Reminds me of my favorite game, Okami!
Anyway she is supposed to be across the sea in a desert somewhere (mongolia? check the dothraki--nomadic like the Huns)... and in that case, eastern dragons are entirely appropriate. Bravo!

Love the nouveau style ! I can understand that some people would have liked western style dragons better but since you said that they looked stupid to you there is no need to argue about that. That's the artistic freedom. Additionally I am pretty sure that Daenerys can handle all kinds of dragons

Thanks! I get annoyed when people are like Y U DRAW CHINESE DRAGONS. They didn't fit nearly as well as these did. I was going more for a graphic element than actual dragons.

I agree, I think the western-style dragons wouldn't have created quite the same appearance or feel. I like the balance created by the two twisty Chinese dragons.

Denerys looks amazing. I love the nouveau style. But I think you should have gone with more western style dragons as opposed to the chinese dragons, seeing as that's how her dragons looked.
