Description
*This takes place after Kiara meets Kovu but before Kion becomes Leader of the Lion Guard*

Nakar's parents sent word out that they would be visiting Simba and Nala. They brought both their son's, Nakar and Behm to meet the King and Queen of Pride Rock. Simba and Nala greeted their allies and introduced them to Kiara and Kion. Kiara sat straight as a queen as she exchanged hellos.

Not long after the introduction, Simba told Kiara to show Nakar around the Pride Lands but not to go too far. Kion wanted to follow his sister but he was much too young to leave his parents side just yet. Him and Behm are close in age so he stayed and played with his new friend.

As Kiara was showing Nakar around, she was trying to point out things in the lands such as the best path to the watering hole, where the old grumpy Honey Badger lives, and more, but Nakar wasn't paying any attention. Every time Kiara started a sentence, he cut her off to tell her about himself. How he was a prince and was going to rule his kingdom one day, how he was the fastest cub in his Pride, how if he wanted to he could take down a whole Zebra by himself. Kiara didn't want to be rude to Nakar, after all he is a guest and they just met, so she just nodded her head and tried to smile every time he boasted about himself.

After a good while, Kiara needed a break from Nakar talking. In the distance she could see her two best friends, Zuri and Tiifu, sunbathing on a rock. Kiara directed Nakar over to them and introduced them to each other.

Just like with Kiara, Nakar started talking about himself and cutting the girls off before they could even get a word in. Kiara noticed that Zuri was becoming annoyed easily. She knew Zuri would most likely say something to Nakar if he keeps it up. So Kiara told Nakar that they should be getting back to their parents. Nakar bidded the two goodbye but not before telling them another fact about himself. Kiara gave an apologetic look to the girls and lead Nakar away from them.

Zuri sneered at Nakar. Yes, she likes to talk about herself too sometimes but she never knew someone could do it more than what she did. She couldn't believe how Nakar was treating her best friend. She's a princess after all and she deservers respect just like Kiara is giving him by not telling him to shut up. Tiifu winced as she saw the look on Zuri's face. She really hoped Zuri wasn't going to do or say anything until Kiara and Nakar were far enough away.

Once the two were out of range, Zuri told Tiifu that she didn't like Nakar and how he was talking about himself and that Kiara should stay clear of him. Tiifu agreed but point out that since Nakar is part of the Pride Lands allies, that Kiara might be seeing him more than she would like. Zuri sighed and told her friend that if Nakar comes back for visits that they need to stay with Kiara to help her out.
