Im not one to comment on things I dont really like. But to me it just looks like a bunch of dots on canvas. Mind explaining to me the purpose?

Dots it is good. Look at works of Pollock, Kandinsky or in general any abstract painting. Read other comments. I won't explain anything.

Thanks a lot for your impressions! And what about abstract painting, you just should try.

This is a very vibrant painting and despite the rain and the wind it makes me feel happy. For a long time I didn't paint abstracts because I didn't understand them - I think a lot of people don't. However, I have grown into both painting them and appreciating them because they are pure expresions of thought and feeling and emotion. There is a feeling of sound in your painting. Even though there is an element of randomness about abstracts, I can also see the thought which has gone into the placing of the colours - do you find you get a sort of intuition that a particular bit of colour fits in a particular place...

Oh, thanks a lot! I am really surprised, how accurately you have described everything. You see very deep things. Some people say to me that my works are too abstract and complicated. But here it is not obligatory to understand something. The sense is in a sound, in beat, it is true. In general I found some limitless space for self-expression in abstracts.

Thank you for your compliment - artists put so much into work I feel it is important the viewer puts as much into trying to get something from it. I think the education systems too often force people into a too traditional view of art and you almost have to re-educate yourself. I think I was lucky at art college to have some tutors who encouraged me to think more broadly, but I am always learning as you have to if you want to move forward and not stagnate. I agree with your thoughts about abstracts - I always feel elated when I have completed one. For me art is my expression of the world - once I have put it out to an audience, they can interpret it as they wish, positively or negatively. Luckily there are people out there who have positive thoughts and it is always great when you connect - others sometimes see what I have seen, often see things which are there and I have missed.

It makes me happy that someone can really penetrate into an essence of the work and give one's view on it, and also share a personal experience. I think that it is necessary for everyone who creates any new things.

This is pretty interesting! There's a sense of space because of the different brush stroke sizes and nicely arranged use of colors!

Thanks a lot! Actually it`s rather difficult work and I`m so glad that you appreciate the result. Certainly, arrangement of colours is the main thing for me because it reflects emotion.

That's what art is. There might be a lot of art genres, but so long as the art has some right elements and principles, the relay of messages will be clear and effective!
