I feel terrible when I upload me/character art.... but that's Light.... I know he looks OOCish.... -___-
I fell in love with the song a few days ago.... the context is different for me than for most people....

OH my goodness. Meg... you're improving so much, and this picture proves it! And the lyrics really do work for it... I'm not as big of a DN fan as you, Kat, or Xime, but this song still has meaning.
I agree with Kat. I love how you did your and Light's eyes... not just how radiant the shine is, but there's definitely love in them as well! Just how the faces look show it! You're amazing with expressions. <3 The blush makes the picture, right there.
I love the hand-holding, too... such a simple gesture, but it means so much!
Also, the lyrics in the background... it gives the picture such an elegant look with the text and the pink pattern, but it adds so much more meaning to the picture... it's almost like light and those lyrics are all you're thinking of, and the same goes for Light, only you're the only one he's thinking of!
This is clearly one of your best works, and nothing should discourage you from uploading it! Artwork comes from the heart; it's *your* drawing, and it's art no matter who or what it is. And there's *nothing* wrong with uploading art for yourself... you can indulge once in awhile! (Hell, I've done it a couple of times... everyone has!)
