I'm not 100% happy with this but I figured I'd post it anyway. I've not been very depressed lately and I feel like my art is suffering because of it. I was trying more of an Eyvind Earle style and I'm not sure it came out the way I envisioned it.Also thanks everyone for voting on my poll. I'll probably be doing an abandoned building next. Maybe something apocalyptic as well. I'm digging the zombie thing right now xDĀ

I really like it: the composition, the colors you've been using, the subtle blossom of the tree, all those lines figuring the grain of the wood... That's such a fine and original artwork overall.Ā

The colours are warm and bright, the atmosphere is mysterious and charming, but serene - different from Your other works, but still infuenced by those fantastic game of light which marks so many of Your artworks. Those little spots of light are lovely, and red marks at cortex make those tree look more alive. It reminds me of the burning bush, as well as of one of the magic objects describet in "the Night Circus" novel - the tree on which branches people magically lit candles by making wish. I`m curious why You placed some "8" around the branches; are they symbols of infinity, or wings of some butterfly-like creature? Anyway, I think it`s really nice tree, and beautiful artwork: )
