Another illustration from Firefall. This one is a little creepier than my usual. I also took a different approach to coloring this as opposed to my other pieces. I'll be most likely going this route for the rest of the book. Let me know what you think!Related content

I just uploaded a picture with a Swampy background, and this just makes mine look like a 4 year old splashed paint all over it... (Even though it does look like that...)

Oh my goodness don't undermine your own work! Practice makes perfect. But thank you Lol, well, I do one big quick scribble of my ideas then fine tune my lines and start working in sections and adding fine details. That's the best way I can describe it!

All those littel plants and muschrooms are so colorful, and make so nice contrast with darkness. (And they`ve got so many details - spots, lines... Really, amazing job). I don`t think it`s creepy - it just look like old, mysterious and a bit magical, but still so alive forest. And those creature has got nice turquise eyes - like sky or water; it doesn`t seem evil... It seems to be a happy, enchanted place.

Thank you! I pushed my lighting and contrast when painting so it's less flat. I've had a lot of feedback on my portfolio lately and that was something that I was lacking in.
