When we last saw Kevin and Elaine, they were talking in that one cafe. Elaine called Kevin. Doris' phone rang.
We never learned how that situation ended. We just jumped into a non-cannon suiting thing, followed by naked Kevin talking to Miranda.
I wouldn't put it past Megazone to skip over that one thing everyone watching the comic has been wanting to see - Kevin reveal the bodysuit's existence to Elaine, either to set up a joke later on, or because he felt the long stream of exposition wasn't entertaining to read or write.
