Conversations between my characters and other people's characters!
NOW NO ONE CAN SAY I NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR THE PEOPLES. <___<
Some conversations/scenes involving my characters in Myriad!
Asfir is going to try to sell Sol some of his merchandise by using his swagger.
Orionhod is digging into Ruaidri's pockets to take the second half of his cash after guiding him through a dangerous path to the magma geysers in Insund.
Orleien and Catherine are talking about the types of guys they are into. Apparently Catherine likes Arkana guys and Orleien likes big strong men.
Rowan is explaining to Sailus about his favourite "fish", the narwhal, which Sailus thought were just weird moving rocks shaped like unicorn horns. <___<
Asfir, Orionhod, Orleien, and Rowan belong to me, =Meibatsu .

I think she's most likely to bump into Asfir if she stay in the forest since Orwans busy running around Verin and Orleien's wandering Zios right now, while Orionhod's stuck in Insund. (I also gotta go to work soon too lol--my RPing is sporadic because of this. lol)

Yeah, she usually will stay in the forests, no further than the edge of Lisadt. Asfir's the blacksmith, right? That might actually work to an advantage, since Hemera certainly isn't nice to her weaponry. (don't worry about that. I'm always sporadic in my replying anyway~)

Asf: *wandering a little aimlessly through Lisadt forests, enjoying scenery and touching bark on trees* You're a little too soft for anything worthwhile.. *knocks on trunk and picks little pieces of bark off*

Asf: --*turns to look at her, adjusts strap to set his shield down* Why, hello there~! Well, that depends. I'm Asfir, a blacksmith from Helion on a vacation of sorts. And you are, my lady..? *bows slightly and upturns his hand to take hers*

Hemera: *raising an eyebrow, not quite sure what he's doing. So she refuses his hand and crosses her arms* I'm Hemera. You're an awful long ways away from any road to be on a vacation, you know.

Asr: Ah, well.. It's nice to meet you, Hemera. *takes his hand back to stand up straight and smooth out the back of his hair* Perhaps not a vacation vacation.. *smiles* It's more a research vacation. I'm actually looking for new ideas for equipment. I usually close my workshop in the summer to look for new materials. This year, I thought maybe the less explored regions of the Lisadt forests might have something good to see. *looks around at trees and back at her* You live here?

Well . . . within the boundaries Lisadt. *coughs* I'm afraid I'm not particularly familiar with smithing, or else I would know the best places for you to go here. I've heard that these forests aren't too bad, though. if you know what you're doing.

Asf: Well, are you items made from forest items then? If they're exceptional, then I would have found myself a good spot to stay a while. *grins and looks Hemera over trying to analyze what she has on*

Hemera: *blushing slightly, not particularly fond of the attention. She shows her bow and quiver, but is down to her last few arrows* My bow was given to me when I was younger. I don't really know if it was made here or elsewhere. These arrows, though, I made them here. They're not too bad, but that's probably due to my lack of skill.

Asf: *catches her blushing and grins, but tries to keep his attention to her equipment* Yes.. this bow seems very well-loved. You know, if you'd like, I could probably polish it up a little bit and service the bowstring. I'm not really a bow expert, but I coudl at least refresh it a little for you. *looks at arrows and studies how straight they are, the polish of the tips, and the wood's flexibility* What's the arrowhead made of?

Hemera: *smiling* If you could do that, I would be really grateful. But . . . *reaches into a pouch* I don't think I have enough money to pay you for such sevices. A shame. *takes one of the arrows, looking at the tip* I always just use whatever stone happens to be most useful in a certain area. This one was from here though . . . this one was crystal quartz, I think.

Asf: *grins* Just laying around? I like the sound of that. You don't need to pay me if you can just lead me to a deposit. *picks shield back up and hands back her stuff to her* Shall we?

Hemera: *puts quiver back on, slings bow over shoulder. starts walking through the trees, toward a set of cliffs* It's not really laying around. Down at the bottom of the cliffs, there are just huge rocks of it. It's a bit of a pain to chip off, but worth it. That is . . . if you can get down to the bottom intact.

Asf: *chuckles* Sounds like a challenge~! I'm up for it! How did you get down there in the first place? I'll just use your strategy. Well, unless it actually involves heavy acrobatics. <_<

Hemera: *smiling softly* I was out of arrows, had almost no way of hunting or defending myself. Well . . . until I stumbled upon this. *points to cliff edge. It's not a sheer cliff, but definitely steep. Rocks stick out from the edges and down the sides periodically* I just jumped from rock to rock . . . which you might have some difficulty with. Normal people probably wouldn't be able to make the jumps. There should be another way down, I think, just along the narrow edges.

Asf: Haah.. yes.. I'm not mountain goat.. *looks down and swallows, imagining the peril to his doom* I'll try my luck with the narrow edges. <_< *heads down a little to an edge he can get a footing on* The last time I want on one of these trips, it was through an Ivorran ice cavern. I probably almost died a few times, but the crystal there was too good to pass up. *tests his footing and reaches into backpack to take some rope out* Do me a favour and tie this around a sturdy trunk. AT least if I slip, I'll be hitting the side of a cliff intead of the bottom. <_<

Hemera: *smiling and shaking her head, but still tying the rope firmly across the tree* You're strange. Willingly risking your life for what I assume is profit? *sighs, then jumps onto the rocks for her descension, and so she can make sure he doesn't fall or misstep* You don't really have to worry. I won't let you die here.

Asf: That's awfully genrous of you. *laughs* Well, there's many different types of profit! Material wealth, political power, and experiential wealth..! It's not every day I can just leave and risk my life to go on an adventure.. and with a beautiful Lisani woman of the forest no less! xD *pulls on rope to test its tension before making a large lumps down to the next visible ledge* UFF! *catches onto projecting rock with one hand before losing balance* <_<; .. Okay.. so far so good..

Hemera: *Holding back a small laugh, not even noticing his compliment* You're doing good so far! Only about . . . sixteen more of those to go. *Leaps across to another rock, then drops down below to one slightly lower on the cliff. All of these are air-assisted leaps* I never really thought of this as an adenture. But I guess it's different based on where you come from. You see it as an adventure, I see it as survival. Oh! You might want to jump slightly to the right on the next one. The ledge looks a bit thin.

Asf: Your advice is noted. *looks down and tries to figure out how to hop down more* ... *takes a deep breath to shake out nerves and takes a leap of faith down, but misses the ledge slightly* --Hhgh! FOR THE LOVE OF-- *bumps along the edge and spins on rope to scrape the side of the cliff with the shield on his back before halting his drop by tightly grabbing onto the rope* >_< GaaaahhhHH..! *breathes heavily in relief, then starts laughing* I'm okay!

Hemera: *can't resist laughing as she jumps rocks to get closer to him* Just hold on, okay? *takes one large leap, hopping onto the narrow legde. Holding onto a rock to support herself, she reaches out for him* Think you can trust me enough to get you on this ledge?

Asf: I don't have much choice, no do I? *grins, still a little flustered from near-death plummet* My life in in your most capable hands, Lady Hemera! *shifts to hold on and reaches out to her*

Hemera: *smiling and grabbing his hand* Keep it up with the flattery, and I'll let you drop. *pulls, having to use a bit of wind because she isn't strong enough to pull him on her own. Gets him onto ledge* You alright? Be more careful next time.

Asf: You mean you don't enjoy rescuing hapless civilians? *grabs onto rocks to get a sure hold before turning to her* I suppose a lady of your caliber is too high for simple flattery. *chuckles and looks down at himself* Just a little scuff here and there. I've been through worse. *shakes head a little to get hair out of the way since falling and wind got it out of place* >_> Mmnh...

Hemera: *rolls her eyes, but still smiling* Stay focused, or you might actually fall to your death. *jumps back across to the rocks, descending a bit further.* On the bright side, we're not that far now.

Asf: How about... You just get to the bottom and I can jump down and you can catch me? *laughs and carefully scales down to the next ledge* You look pretty tough. I probably wouldn't break many of your bones landing on you. *pauses to catch his breath and look down, satisfied with how far he's gotten so far*

Hemera: Ha! *jumps down to the bottom* You? Break me? Excuse me while I laugh myself to death. *Measures the distance, thinking. If she tried to catch him, she would probably be crushed. TIME FOR MAGIC. Creates a small whirlwind, keeping it moving as the right momentum to make the jump not lethal* If you jump right here, neither of us will get hurt.
