Painter X, JASC Paint Shop Pro 7.

So I decided to FINALLY practice a bit with using Painter X, which I had purchased for over a year now but have hardly touched. XD

Honestly, it was because I didn't want to bother with a new interface and confusion with all the brushes and "rules". I did run into a couple of weird glitches, I think, such as having a colour not go away or erasing and leaving some weird white layer underneath.. really, it was strange. And how watercolour brushes don't work properly on a multiply or gel layer because it can't calculate the bleeding/fringe properly... So I pretty much made due with just painting on one layer

Anyway, you can have a look at the result and stare at Poly's creepy giant blue eyes. XD Maybe next time, I will try to simplify the colouring more so it's more true-to-anime in style? :> I was also going to add in a background, but then got way too lazy so I took it into PSP to add on the texture and Poly's ghost.. but maybe next time! XD

Poly's one of the main characters for an upcoming project with that isn't even officially named yet. Hopefully I can FINALLY do something with her!
