I have been pretty inactive art-wise lately! BAD!!! Though seems liek today I am getting back into it in a small way!
I was gonna draw yaois, but then I wanted to draw Sato, but he didnβt wanna be yaois today, so here he is with plants. Angrily asexual yet sensual.
One day I will finalize his tattoo designs and random piercings and jewellery, but not today!

Lol, I like how you like drawing this dude for stress relief. He looks seriously awesome, though also seriously pissed off at everything. (I don't know if Nami told you, but I love guys with white hair, it's just a [probably creepy] thing of mine)

Starfighter is like.. supposed to end this last chapter, but I dunno how it can even be ended in 20-or-so pages.. lol One of my friends hates the main characters and also hates how her favourite seems to be screwed over hahaha. I feel similar because I like Deimos and I wanna see him in the comic more than Caine or Abel.

Hahaha, yeah I'm glad it's become a regular fandom thing, really! In the dark ages, I used to have to look so hard for these characters, like Elric of Melnibone or Raistlin Majere, with all that really, uh, classic 80's cover art. Now they even have a deviantART group for white-haired dudes and it is just awesome.
So I hope you don't think this is weird, but I kind of read the RP profile you had for him, and you mentioned that you adapted him from a pre-existing character? What was he like before he became Starfighter Sato?Β
Also, the main characters in Starfighter are so codependent. I remember wanting to sit them down for couple's counselling or something, but it just makes it so deliciously intense. Thanks for the heads up on this being the last chapter! I'll probably starting reading again in... a month or two. That should give it time to finish, I hope.

Sato "in canon" is part of a fantasy story taking place on Gaia . He's the remaining lifeforce of Sato Forest, a forest that gets almost destroyed in a war between two groups, the Serpents and the Pegesus (blood groups in this world are based on the different approach each has to reincarnation). As the forest was being destroyed and about to be turned into a desert or husk, the spirit of the forest gathered into the body of a dying pegesus boy who still had a strong will to live. Sato pretty much took over his body and acts as a physical guardian of the forest now. The forest itself is more twisted and cursed and haunted by spirits, who are always complaining or wailing to him, so it's hard for him to sleep (plus there's not really much he can do for them as they dead!). He's therefore almost always cranky and bitter. He speaks mostly in Pegesyu, which is mostly a dead language by now because most of the pegesus people were wiped out in the war, so even though he technically knows the lingua franca of the world (Shadow Langauge), he's stubborn and usually refuses to speak it.
In Starfighter AU, he's adapted to be prejudiced against colonizers and Colteron, etc., but on Gaia, he's prejudiced against just about everyone because he's a vengeful forest god who hates these fools who have either failed to protect his forest or whose people were part of the destruction in the first place. I really enjoy how pretty he is along with how noble and downright awful he is at the same time. ~_~ TI just like him so much that I "downgraded" him to use him in other AUs for fun. I have also typed him Sato as ISFP!
Hahaha I dunno.. I feel like there must be so many more pages to go for anything wraps up! And HamletMachine's updates are maybe once a week.. I feel like one more chapter to wrap it up would be needed since this one is already the longest chapter she's done yet.. lol

Hahah yeah! He's already annoyed with his whole forest dying, but the constant complaining is not helpful at the very least.
I have not! I am bad at having a sustained writing or comic thing for my stories! I just have a lot of descriptions on random doodles.

I don't have an ending for him yet. The world just keeps on going! :> Though apparently in some of the endings (if you can assume time loops around in circles), he did commit suicide or just turned into an unhappy feral god.
ACTUALLY I WAS WRONG. I forgot that Sato and Asfir aren't the ones who are blood-related!--Though Asfir's father did live in Sato Forest before its destruction! So I suppose it's like a brotherhood of sorts. But Sato doesn't really respect him as a brother since Asfir is mixed between Pegesus and Griffon. Asfir's just a regular guy, skilled immortal, but regular.
The boy Sato is inhabiting's surviving blood relative was his older sister, who long married a Unicorn and gives birth to Silia (girl in forefront--you can see they have much resmeblances):
Sato is also wary and testy with her because she is mixed with Unicorn and can't even speak Pegesyu. :>

I know what you mean about the world just going on! I have a pretty long-running universe myself. At this point, I feel that if I write anything down, I'd be destroying everything: because finally starting it means I'd have to end it someday. And I don't really want it to end. 
I like how the language is such a big issue with Sato. It feels almost like a big metaphor for the whole experience of being a stranger in a strange land. I mean, I grew up speaking English because I was socialized mostly by TV and it's really weird being around people who spoke a different language.Β
Haha, I do see the resemblance! So when you say Unicorn and Pegesyu, does that mean they can shapeshift into the mythical creatures, or is that just their nationality?

My big problem is that I finally have to SORT OUT what is happening! Which AU should I use? Which one is best?? Hahha Does any of this story actually make sense if I try to put it in order???
A lot of it is done with my cousin too, since she has her own set of related characters. So it's.. messy. It's like one decades(?) long RP session that we have to edit and clean up if we ever want to present it..
Yeah. Sato is a very going-down-with-the-ship kinda of guy, I guess! If he's alive, his language has to stay alive! He won't let it die on his tongue!
Some people with that blood can shapeshift into their "proper" mythical forms if they have enough mana capacity and willpower to hold the forms, but most people are stuck in humanoid form and just have the blood. The blood is related to how they reincarnate/general nationality where the pact was made, but perhaps it's based on the sacrifice of such animals. haha!

That does sound like a pretty big problem. I had another look around your gallery, and whoa, you have a lot of characters. Add that to the different AUs plus a co-creator, and you have a canon with the sprawl of a major comic book franchise! I don't envy your task, haha. It's pretty cool though. It's almost as if your universe has taken on a life of its own.Β If you suddenly got like $10,000 or something so you can work on a single storyline/comic though (just your own personal one), which storyline would it be?
