A child raised under high standards, made her constantly worry about achieving perfection, no matter what, even if it would hurt herself. Such pressure is also responsible for her undying fear of being wrong and rejected, always wanting to be approved and praised. However, the free spirit of a rebellious young child who wants to do what she really wants to and not what have been determined for her to do still remains on her, usually shown in the way she keeps her hair, clothing and even her hobbies. The need of being perfect also sparks the love for competition, the pleasure of being better than everyone else, one could say she enjoys being on the spotlight, the center of attention. Her overconfidence can be a trigger to a hidden courage and bravery as well as it can show an arrogant and sometimes even a cocky attitude, underestimating others. Spoiled by the wealth of her family, Sofia took most things for granted, although that recently started to change with the recent events at school she still remains stingy and unable to share her items with others.
Despite the rough shell she is on the outside, she is a nice friend worried about others, caring for their well being and that they achieve success as well... in her own way that is, she is not very good with words.

Biography:
{Childhood}
  The second daughter of Ko Han Yu, a university professor, and the first child of the professor's second marriage with Gabriel Medeiros, a rich brazilian diplomat who had a even more wealthy family behind him. While her sister was raised normally, Sofia was raised like a princess with everything surrounding her excelling in quality and quantity. Since she was Medeiros' first and only girl he spared no resources to give her only the best, consequently spoiling her with trivial and material things; also teaching her proper manners and scolding her whenever she wasn't acting like a "princess" should be.

  Both her parents were always in a hurry at work, sometimes not even coming back home for a few days and leaving the baby child to her sister and grandmother's care. Due to her sister being much older than her, she ended up getting more praise for her intelligence and her good performance in studies than the young Sofia, which annoyed her more and more as time went by.

  The relatively conservative couple had set a path for their child to follow: become a famous top notch engineer, however, that wasn't what the little girl wanted as it was the same area of work as her older sister. In order to give her such successful future, they decided she needed to go to a place of excellence as well. That was when Gabriel remembered about one prestigious academy he heard about when he worked in England, such Academy was most likely the best place for her to study and it wouldn't pose much a problem for them to visit her when possible and Sofia would most likely get even better at english, so it turned out to be a win-win situation on her parent's heads. Surprisingly enough, the girl was eager and excited to be enrolled at Illustris Academy, the reasons she told her parents were all they wanted to hear, but the true reasons why were so she could probably choose her own path being away from them.

{Elementary}
  The dream of being alone soon turned into nightmare. Sofia wasn't exactly good at making friends, rare were the kids that she deemed to be on the same level as her, not to mention her constant fear of pronouncing one word wrong or mixing up word meanings. So instead of making friends or getting close to anybody she would spend most of her time studying english and english alone. Even away from home, she still had all the things she needed at hand and thus not being forced out of her comfort zone. Few were the students she could relate to, but was still shy and embarrassed to talk much to them.

  During summer, she thought that maybe she would just peacefully return back home for a while, until the academy took them to a private beach and nothing would ever be the same after. She tried calling in sick, so she would avoid the harsh sun of summer, yet she went along with everyone else in the end. While the other kids were having fun at the beach, near the ocean, from the start she decided to stay away from the sea, hiding under the parasol, the closest she could be to the grass and safe from sunlight. The events that followed shocked her beyond belief. The terrifying monster which still haunts her memories from time to time, the screams, the running away, the panic in everyone's eyes... none of that she can erase form her mind, specially the news after the monster's disappearance, a girl had died.

  At the funeral of the fellow student she still hadn't recovered from the shock, being grateful for the Support Group that was held and hoping that things such as that wouldn't repeat ever again.

- Despite her princess like up bring, she is quite sporty and laid-back at times;
- Raspberries and strawberries are her favorite afternoon snacks ever;
- Is actually bad on time management on her own so she can lose track of time when doing things she likes;
- She rather be called Ko Sun Jun most of the time, preferring "Sun" or "So" for nicknames;
