Portrait of my samurai OC, Haruka.
It's nice to draw him looking complacent for once, since he seems to be one of those OC's (read: all of my OC's) who I just constantly seem to be doing terrible shit to for no discernible reason. Speaking of doing shitty things to him, I've been wanting to draw him in shibari for a while now too. 
Unfortunately, my classes start tomorrow, but I'm holding out hope that some of my schoolwork will be interesting enough to post. I know I say that every semester, but I actually do expect it to be true this time. xD

I love the colors you used in this, and his skin especially looks really smooth!
He also has a really pretty design~ I think you should definitely draw him in shibari LOL

I was talking with about all the artists who are making art books lately and the subject came up that if you ever made one, I (and many others) would buy one. Ever thinking about making an artbook of all your wonderful works?

I have thought about an art book, actually. That's something I'd really love to do sometime. I think the big problem would be getting enough work together to do it (I tend to start hating old works a few months after I draw them. DX)If I can learn to be a little more prolific, I definitely will try to get one together. I wouldn't mind do a collaborative art book either with other people, but I've never known anyone who was planning one. :/

I actually did get my BA already, in spring of 2011 and I have one year down of hopefully three on my MA.
