Wonderful colors in this one. The colors blend and gradient so well one from the other. Nice!

This, I agree, is the best of the three. I'm suprised, too, that the only adjustment made to the flower was contrast. How severe a change did you make?

I dont know why everyone has a tough time believing that XD I guess I'll have to post some other completely non-adjusted shots in my scraps as proof, lol (I took like 100 of these flowers o_o)...well anyways, I don't really remember exactly how much, I know I decreased the brightness a little and added a little contrast...not a lot, though. Thanks.

Just chalk it up to the glory of the flower (and the wonderful XT)

i've just never seen a blue orchid like that. i've seen that same kind of orchid but it was white where the blue is. did you put it in blue water to change the color or did you change that in photoshop?

Once again, all I have edited here is brightness/contrast in PS. I did nothing to the colors. I've seen tons and tons of orchids and all of them are different, with different tones of blue, purple, yellow...any color. I didn't do anything having to do with colors here, the flower is like that and they were a gift to me...so before that day, what may have been done to the flower - I don't know. Like you, I had never seen an orchid like this...that's why I photographed it.
