Today's prompt is "frail" for which I've picked what is perhaps one of the most, if not THE most iconic scene from the game Limbo, with a massive hotel sign, spitting sparks from its worn cables.
I've tried to stick to the game's artstyle while not straying too far from my own, arguably the most difficult part of this was the angle and perspective which I'm not 100% happy with, but it does the job.

Limbo is an enigma of a game, its vagueness giving way to many interpretations. All that you are given at the start is the description in the store pages of wherever you decide to buy it "Uncertain of his sister's fate, a boy enters LIMBO" and when the game starts, there is no dialogue, nothing. Not even so much as a main menu. It's a game that I still think about from time to time because while it is disturbing and feels desolate and hostile in its portrayal of the world it created, Limbo is also beautifully poignant and meaningful if you take the time to observe and understand its visual clues.
The artstyle is just silhouette. The game has no colours or clear visual indication at times what everything laying in front of you is, which, while it can add to the horror aspect of it, also means there is gonna be trial and error in the gameplay. Together with the soundtrack of natural sounds and ambiance, it can create an unsettling, ominous atmosphere which is another thing I truly love about Limbo.
In relation to today's prompt, in the game you aren't some superhuman, just an ordinary boy and the premise of that placed in the world of Limbo can make you feel vulnerable and frail.

Overall, Limbo is a morbid, fascinating and creative piece of art I truly cannot recommend enough, I'm glad I got the opportunity to draw a tribute towards it. <3
