Thank you for commenting. I am experimenting with things I've never done before, so that makes positive comments even more memorable and helpful.
I shouldn't care so much what people think, but...

I think it is great to experiment with new mediums; it is refreshing to see something extraordinary and new. So what if people don't like it, it is good for your soul and it makes you a great artist.

That is so true. The great artists break new ground and don't worry about what people think of it.
I'm learning. I had a recent lesson. My collage "My Girdle Is Killing Me"
I loved it. When I posted it, it was ignored -- probably for not even that long. But I got insecure and put a bunch more stuff on it. Turned it into the one called "You Can Find Me Under g"
The first one no longer exists. Thank goodness for scanners. I have it that way. But being able to scan also allows for more experimentation, which is a good thing.
I'm still using the faves of others to determine the value of "Girdle", but it was a helpful reminder to stick with something if I like it.
Your words help too. Art is part of the process of living, which boils down to making choices that you commit to.

It's very beautiful... it looks like you took a water or sea wave photograph and modified it. Is that what you did?
