Description Olm. ATC trade with for this month.

His body is a little shorter than it should be but I really like the unfinished look the watercolour gives him. The photos I could find vary. I couldn't see if they all had eyes - some it seemed didn't - so I gave him vestigial eyes - based on the black Olm images I found.

Are these related to mudpuppies? (I always loved that name - mudpuppy - although they're hardly puppy-like, lol.) I just remember the cute little ear-tufts.

Anyway, this is rather lovely. Like a ghostly ouroboros. I like how clearly it stands out against the background, especially.

They are as related to Mudpuppies as Axylotyls are - I love the word 'mudpuppy' - its as good as 'fishwife' ^_^

I so love that card. O,O As I said in the note before: Most works with letters involved tend to stick to the borders, not going over them, not even THINKING about touching them. But exactly this makes this work absolutely perfect. =^^=

Fyi: Olms are blind since they live in an environment completely devoid of any kind of light. I think they DO have the needed parts though they do not grow anymore. :3

Yus. Thats why I left the pupil out of the eye - so they look all misted over, like the blind fish golem eats in The Hobbit. I think some individuals may have eyes so vestigial they are barely visible though.
