Terry McGinnis is the Batman in the possible future of Batman Beyond. The genetic son of Bruce Wayne, Terry became the second Batman in order to avenge the death of his father, Warren McGinnis. Though he was created for the DC Animated Universe and the bulk of his appearances use that version, he has also been adapted into the main DC Universe and the DCnU.

Terry McGinnis was created by Alan Burnett, Paul Dini, Bruce Timm and Glen Murakami, first appearing in the episode Rebirth of the animated series. (1999) Grant Morrison adapted the mythos into mainstream continuity in Batman #700. (2010)
