Jericho Torres Todd formerly Jericho Torres was the bastard son of Jason Todd and Mina Torres. He never met his father and his mother died when he was twelve. She had been in Neo- Gotham P.D. filing a noise complaint about her neighbour when a member of the Jokerz gang got hold of a gun and sprayed the whole room with bullets. With her dying breath, Mina told Jericho who his father truly was. He spent the next ten years reading and studying his fathers exploits, training, mirroring his style perfectly and adopting the name Red Hood.

Jericho shared his fathers brutality and warped sense of justice which led him into conflict with the Batman of his era, Terry McGinnis. In one fight Red Hood beat Batman unconscious and stole his Bat-suit. He returned it the next night but not before reverse engineering it and making one of his own.
