HI PEOPLE.

I recently took some traditional portrait requests on my other account (like, the one I'm actually active on) ScurvySimon . I'm uploading this one here because it's fanart and I prefer to only post original characters and such on the other account.

This was a request for thejippy who is the biggest Sorato fan in the entire universe (try to challenge her on this and you will probably regret it). She originally requested Sorato then I pointed out that the requests were only meant to be for one character, so she settled for just Matt . . . but then I realised that her birthday was coming up so in a rare moment of kindness I decided to draw both of them. Of course, I have almost no interest in "shipping" so I really don't know how to draw couple-ish pictures and thus I just drew them with their faces close together and such. That's a thing that couples do, right?

I haven't drawn Digimon characters for like, years, and I guess my style has changed since then because it was pretty weird seeing how they turned out. (Possibly the strangest part was seeing Digimon characters with discernable noses.) The colours also came out pretty weird but I will blame that on the limited range of colours available in traditional art, and the black paper. Because I like to make excuses for my lack of colouring skills.

Also, the photo is kind of bad quality because I was about to leave to go to jippy's house and give her the original when I realised I hadn't taken a photo, so I snapped it really quickly. I tried scanning it too but that turned out even worse, so I had to settle for this. Oh well.

P.S. I kind of doubt I'll ever become active on this account again because I rarely draw fanart anymore, so you should all go watch me at ScurvySimon instead!
