So just to show that yeah I still do art just not personal art (god I suck), here's an assignment I'm working on for Color Theory this week.

The idea is that we have three related 2D pictures in a medium of our choice. (Guess what I picked). One pic is only made with saturated colors and tints, one is made with tones of colors and shades, and then one is made using a palette drawn from a work of art from before 1950 (I chose a Monet).

I'm in love with the concept I came up with. At first, it's a happy child on a swing - it's all that matters, that swing and that thrill and that happiness. Zoom out a bit, go forward in time a bit, and she's sitting with a friend, discussing the future, sharing secrets, etc. The last one, zoom out, go forward in time, she's older, walking down the street, passing that abandoned swingset, feeling sorrow for what is lost.

Yup.
