Yeah I know, I'm late. I love this lock screen so much.
This is the theme I was talking about. Sorry for naming it wrong...lol.
You did an incredible job with this.

Yea the only thing I have right now is the itch for a new phone. I am due for an upgrade but tight on cash otherwise I would most likely grab an sg2 ($199) but could get a nexus s for free right now. I know the sg2 is a better phone over all but the nexus s is a pretty nice phone already has the ota for ICS and has a huge support base on xda also would allow me to try out MIUI. Just not sure what I want to do. Any thoughts?

When I was contemplating getting a new phone/carrier (still am, but budget is forcing me to wait until the summer - I hear ya on tight cash, and I've only had my phone since July anyway) I spoke with DA's pcrdlx at length - he is really knowledgeable, seems to know a ton about phones, dev and carriers of all variety - check my journal where I chatted him up at length. [link]
Much as I would LOVE to jump on the ICS bandwagon, I think I am best served by waiting to see where dev goes on the leading contenders (if I'm not mistaken, a bunch of new devices are coming out in the very near future)...and which phone will have the most alt ROMs in the works ASAP. When I decide on a new device, I personally want something with both Cm9 and MIUI ICS(when they get it working properly - still lots of issues I hear tell) as a distinct possibility, if not an actuality, straight out of the gate. Its REALLY hard for me to imagine stock at the moment lol. And to be honest, much as CM7 is really cool, I can't imagine life without MIUI anymore. Since I'm on a no-contract carrier (Virgin), I can jump ship whenever, a luxury most of you guys don't have - but then, I paid $300 for a device that would have been fair marketed on Sprint at half the cost or less by now. I would not be entertaining the thought of a new phone/carrier if not for the fact that both major devs for my phone walked off to other carriers/other projects. But if/when I get truly antsy, if a new-er device means waiting too long to play with MIUI ICS, then I would probably go with the SG2 or DINC2 myself. Wow, look how I rambled lol.

Thanks for the link was some int. info still considering the nexus s for free it has great dev support has cm7 already has cm9 alpha has MIUI and even ICS. If i get the itch again I can always consider buying something off craigslist or ebay that's how I got my aria. i have some financial obligations that will be coming to an end in the summer which will free up a good chunk of change and I am sure it would satisfy me till then it has a larger processor than my aria and the screen res is 480 by 800 compaired to my 320 by 480 and some other things that are better than my little aria. Even though it's has a larger screen it's still not much larger than my phone which is a big deal to me as well.

Glad it helped. That Nexus sounds like a solid bet if you can't wait...or I can't, lol. I am toying with idea of getting something used/solidly developed off ebay and using it for theming purposes alone, though not having the latest MIUI lockscreens on my phone is already sticking in my craw. Yeah, I gotta be honest, I'd just LOVE to see what you do with more screen real estate, since you're amazing at maximizing on a 320x480. I was worried about going to a bigger device, but since my bigger screened one is slimmer than my 320, I can't complain. The one thing that has turned me off splurging on the most recent extraordinary gadgets is the weird curved shapes - I like square phones myself.

I might just wait because everyone says dual core is the future and the sg2 was 199 when we started this convo and has just dropped to 149 so who knows in another month or two when some of the new devices start to hit it may go down even more and it was rated the best phone for 2011 from what I've read. It just looks kinda bland but the processor is kick a$$ from what I understand. My wife is do for an upgrade as well and she is using an old lg messaging phone with out a data plan so pretty sure she wants something that she can facebook on so will need another data plan added and as I said money is a little tight so maybe holding off for bit will work out anyways.
