Description Got this model from a friend and want to try this new site with fantastic HDRI photos

The Smart Fortwo is a rear-engined two-seater city car manufactured by Smart GmbH, introduced at the 1998 Paris Motor Show as the Smart City Coupé, and currently in its second generation. The name refers to its seat capacity. An all-electric version was introduced in 2007, the Smart electric drive, and a second generation, with a total of 2,000 electric cars was produced between 2009 and 2012. More at: [link]

Only the car is 3D, the rest is a HDRI

It was very fast...less then 10 minutes. The background is a HDRI so its renders real fast.

Wow, I need to get 3dsMax2012. I have been using LuxRender and it takes 20+ hours for one render!

Dont know that one. But let me say this, you must know well about vray to make quick renders. Like always, the must quality you want the slower it is the render. But you can create some settings to have a cool render in a fast time

Thank you for the tip. The thing about LuxRender though is that it does not take much effort to get a good realistic render, just a lot of time.
