He's so beautiful!! And I can totally seeing him chilling with the eagles and doing aerial stunts with them. Great job! He looked completely relaxed and confident he'll be caught.
Which actually is rather sad and ironic when you think of when he gets killed by the balrog - Thorondor is in future not going to be able to catch him but will bear his body out of a ravine.

I don't think it's too morbid at all, but that the element of foreboding there adds depth to the painting. I love his hair and his clothes, by the way.Β Β

Amazing! And now that you say it, it didΒ seem like Glorfindel was going to be with Fellowship. Be rather interesting to imagine that he did join the Fellowship -especially when facing the balrog.Β

It would have been really interesting! But I think Glorfindel was just too powerful at that point... And I'm glad Legolas got a chance to shine instead.
