Description Even as sea monsters circled, and winds battered the splinters of her ship and waves rose to engulf her all that was left, she did not give up. She grasped, unflinching, from the wreckage of her ship, the very thunderbolt her enemy sought to use against her, and swung back to let it loose - lion-hearted, unyielding, relentless.

Superb piece, awe-inspiring....but why is Poseidon being such a jerk?

I thought Zues was the one who hurled thunderbolts?

This girl is holding a thunderbolt, perhaps she's a daughter of Zeus; the Big Guy coming up out of the water makes me think of Poseidon (Neptune), god of the seas.

True, but after the Olympian gods defeated the titans they decided on their roles, only then was Poseidon associated with the sea, and Zues got the thunderbolts from Hephaestus, suggesting that if he really wanted to, Zues could theoretically emerge from the sea but that's just me going off on a really random tangent so who knows. Either way it's a fun pix, and thank you for the llama.

It's neither Zeus nor Poseidon, it's a hybrid mix of both
