It seems like good old times returned.
Cross Country entry for CAMP WEEK EVENT! .

Story (now look at this long ass speech I made... enjoy!):

(The story beggins when Memui return to his home, after he run from his shamefull defeat. On his way to nowhere, he met Sophie (charcter of Meykka ) in some strange bar, where he went to rethink his actions. She helped him a lot and he decided to not go further into emptyness, but instead return home and working hard, so he can one day owercame shadow of his old self. Previously: Losing sucks... )

He came right to the stables, acting like nothing happened, stepped in front of Elsiwen’s box. “Hello Elsiwen, long time no see,” mare looked his way and came closer. He gently scratched her forehead. “So you’ve returned, how’s trip?” Aren appeared beside him. “It was good, refreshing,” answered Memui. “At least someone had fun, your father gave me speech of the year, he even said I’m fired, would you believe that?” Aren grabbed brush and went to Leaps box. “So how is that you are still here?” Memui followed him smiling. “Well, your father is nuts, but he can’t afford loosing his best rider,” said Aren as he started to brush Leap. “I see, so your brother saved you, how many times it was now?” “Shut up, you should apologize, it was all your fault,” now Aren seemed upset, but he didn’t stop brushing his horse. Leap happily neighed, few other horses answered him. “Yeah, I guess I’m jerk like my father, sorry about that,” said Memui scratching his head as he started to feel guilty for his immature escape. “Doesn’t matter now, do you have any plans?” Aren sighted, which was sign that he let it go. “Some, I’ve meet one interesting woman…,” “Wait what? You’ve met a woman?” Aren immediately stopped brushing, clearly shocked. “… well, yes, so what.” “Pardon me, it’s just like… imagine Leap talking. You’ve never met woman.. like alone…” Aren seems to have lot on his mind, but Memui stopped him just right when he was about to say something inappropriate. “No, it’s not what you mean,” an awkward silence followed. “I’m taking Elsiwen on cross again,” he changed theme. “I will tell you about what happened later, kay?” he added, laughing at Arens disappointed stare. Leap nervously bumped onto his owner, suggesting he could continue to brush him. “That’s a good news, I’m going to take Solaris on his first show, maybe you should know, ” said Aren as he continued brushing his horse. “Good luck then,” said Memui slowly leaving. “You too,” answered Aren.

As Memui found, the show he was registered to was part of some camp week event which unfortunately started yesterday. He has to hurry if he didn’t wanted to came there after ending of it, and so he left early next morning. He felt little nervous as he didn’t ride Elsiwen for some time, but Aren said him, that she’s now much disciplined and therefore it shouldn’t be any hard. She was also daily trained, either with groundwork or under saddle. Aren did really good job on her. He arrived at the shortly after midnight. All horses were kept in fenced area near small house and tent area. After he led Elsiwen there he asked few campers where he can find owner. They showed him way to small house. Right after he found the person he was looking for, he greatly apologized for coming so late, showing him his registration for Cross Country. Gladly the boss was a nice woman and apparently in good mood, because everything was going smoothly with her event. She showed him little tent just for him. Well, he seemed a little bit unsure, he never slept with one of those, but since it was hot summer, he suggested it should be all right. After he went to bed he heard some weird stories about some monster wandering around, which was little weird…

Next morning he went explore the ground. He came Elsiwen on ride to the forest, she seemed happy and rested. It was quite nostalgic ride, he remembered lots of traveling with her thru forests under silver mountains. He wasn’t doing much that day, just meeting peoples, little bit talking and eating, he was more interested in the next day, which was open for training. Recently some rain fall in the night and the morning was bit cold, but as the sun comes out it was again nice warm day. Memui took Elsiwen to explore the trail, here and there was still some mud ground, but the training went safe for both. “You seem more courageous than ever,” he said to Elsiwen after training while cleaning her. “I should take you as example…”

The sixth day – D day, was finally here. All participants were ready to do their best. When his turn comes they start smoothly, galloping to the first obstacle, they cleared it just fine, same as few other. His slack of trainings started to show up and some problems appeared later in the ride. Luckily he managed to concentrate and came back on track just before anything bad could happen. As they finished the ride he was tired as never, but Elsiwen acting like it was nothing, she was literally saying him “you’re welcomed that I trained for us both while you were slacking your butt”. He patted her neck, after really long time he again felt happy.
