*victory roar* Done at last! *screams a bit, then some more* I feel better now.Hey, you know this guy. He doesn't live or work here, but it's always enlightening to go to such places and back. Though they have the bad habit of actually invoking deeper thoughts in him. (I mean AFTER the "this place would make a brutal album cover" and the "ahh, the blood, the eye candy" one
)The interesting part is that he's convinced they don't exist even when he's technically walking inside one, but he says it's all hypothetical (and it has too much cool stuff to be real) so he's just hypothetically walking in it. He also doesn't tell some cosmic entities that he thinks they're only metaphors cause angry metaphors are dangerous.
The dragon thingie's got one wing and two mouths on purpose
It's so playful!The faces all used to belong to people like the hanging ones, but now they're all a hollow and distorted crowd. (These will follow.)

It was all worth it! Oh god. I think this might be my favourite pic of yours ever. Until the next one! Love the sharp detail on the armour (of course I do!) and the dragon/twisted/tortured souls-tree concept is just inspired. Beautiful, and yes, it'd make a great album cover!

Wow - this really would make brutal album cover! I love the two mouths on the dragon, and for some reason that single drop of blood is really eye-catching. The detail on the armor is really impressive as well. Disturbing, but great job! ^_~

Hmmm...I'd say dark, but not macabre. It's got enough of that surreal, "nightmare" feeling that it still feels like fantasy - just a sort of scary fantasy. Personally, I like it!
Besides, what's wrong with a like psychopathy here and there?

Neat! Psychopathy and deviant behavior has always interested me; not sure why. I think humans are just naturally fascinated by things outside "the norm" - hence, carnivals. O_o Heh, i took an amazing class my senior year of college on human sexuality, and did my final paper on sexual deviance/fetishism. I don't care what anyone says, it's a cool topic. ^_^

Personally at one point I was thinking the dragon's a girl, but that was just at one point, I haven't thought about its gender since.
Glad you like the armor too. You may have noticed it looks different every time. I think it's either his armor at different tiers or just the fact that it can assume any clothing shape (the quality you had suggested taking back at his creation when he was a wee mid-nonepic level guy. And he didn't really use it much cause it doesn't change the fact it's a heavy suit of armor and he doesn't sleep in it unless he needs to. A fact that a certain party member really abused that one time. You know who I mean. The... err, bitch)

It's so huge i couldn't see it without lots of scrolling on my tiny laptop, but on my big pc is looks epic 8D And on both of those it was bright enough.
Gee, that detailed! Was that the actual size on those closeups? Cause then you're painting uberneatly. When i'm drawing in ps i tend to start with a super-huge size and do it sloppily, once shrank the pic looks neater than it was originally, but yours looks neat even in the closeup 8D
I love your art 8D You draw like you're a decade older than me (that is your works look that experienced), makes me feel like a retard. XD I should draw more, but damn, i am already downloading those Overlords XD And i downloaded Prototype which is the freakin most movie-like game i have seen so far D8/ (lol sorry went offtopic)

I usually draw just like what you described about yourself. This one's neater cause it all started with a random small sketch, I liked the face, decided to do something with it, started drawing a body, wondered what to do with the figure, continued stretching the canvas file as I had some stuff coming up in my head and so it became a rather big picture that started out as a part of what size it's now, and so in the end every part became as detailed as if I had painted it as a separate picture cause I wanted it to be evenly detailed and the figure would've been much more detailed than the rest that way. And I had the patience to finish it cause it was as if I'm painting different pictures and if I got tired of some part I moved onto another until I got inspired for the first one again.

Oh i just stopped playing Prototype (cause i decided it's not worth the time and just read summary on wiki), now i'm playing Overlord 1 8D It is so epic 8D Gotto love the minions 8D I want one as a pet. XD Or two, or three, or even four. XDDD I got to the elven forest and i'm destroying those nodes of the roots. It's one of the best fantasy games i've played in a long while, well Witcher was also awesome, but in a serious way, while this game is so ironic and fun. XD
I see, that's a clever idea, i should try drawing like that too. Separating a picture in parts that is. 8D

And you can't destroy all of the nodes until you've gone to Heaven's Peak (kind of my fave part's in Heaven's peak, cause by the time you get there you have upgraded yourself enough to be heroically decapitating hordes of zombies all by yourself, and you remember the times when you were just as strong as an average human and now you're being epic

Oh, yes, now i have passed Heaven's Peak and the Forest. Gee, i wish i knew the glitch, cause i loose so many minions every now and then and have to go kill hordes of bugs each time i want new armor or weapon.
Which mistress did you choose?
So far i fail at being evil, i do only good deeds, i only killed a peasant once, by accident. I think i'll stay with Rose, she's quite fun, i love her attitude and the way she acts around the minions. And her sister despite having a cooler bed doesn't appeal to me.
I keep thinking they should make part 3 and call it Overlady. XDDDDD Hell yeah and girl-minions! XDDDDDDDDDDD

Was the peasant the one with the sheep? I was being completely good until him too (the first time I played, I then made a completely evil char and played halfthrough the game with him to see the difference), then I got 5% corruption for him getting roasted by the reds on his attempt to attack the Overlord's untouchable persona, and decided to be badder and ended the game 26% evil. First time I stayed with Rose too. She's the reasonable one and she wouldn't marry someone for money and get herself in big trouble all the time like Velvet. Rose only gets a bit annoying when she constantly reminds the Overlord to go out and do quests, and it also seems she only starts behaving a bit nicer towards him when she suddenly realizes OTHER girls would gladly welcome him if she's being too mean to him
Minion, they're strange, they seem to be the typical one-gender race but (spoiler) if you're good you see among all the endings a minion going to a peasant house, a peasant woman comes out of the house to meet him, followed by a litter of baby minions

I love the color red and it goes perfect with the scene you have here. The lighting is actually dull which also goes with the scene and makes it more eeeeeeevil. And the composition is good because the characters stand out against the sky.
