Hmm yeah I’ve found giants difficult to do myself. My own template ended up being basically heavily built men with “the height of basketball players but the strength of football players” as i explained to my sister. Basically instead of going with an ogre like approach or a ginormous fantastical approach. I just developed them into big men with a broad built- , maybe looking kind of like Beorn? They’re always grouped with dwarves so of course i made them enemies of dwarves but also living in different locales ( i put the dwarves as living in a centum europe, abd the giants in a Satem europe)- and having similar traits in terms of build, ( great strength, big shoulders, etc. though more body surface area abd less compact) and technological inclination( giant stone structures, advanced metallurgy, rich, long-lived, etc). Still it took a long time for me to flesh them out.
