The components look oddly divorced from each other. Β There is no color exchanged between them. Β It's as if they were lifted from or copied from separate references. Β Okay, that's exaggerating it to make the point clear, but you know what I mean.

Ah, I understand. And that's really because they were; I copied the cat and the background from two separate references. This art is rather old; I feel I could've rendered it better in some ways now. Admittedly I have not thought about the color usage much though, but I can see what you mean now that you mention it. Thank you very much for the critique. ^^
