I can see how well that soundtrack fits in with this picture. I love how you've done these pictures, got the ideal mood down and everything.

My goooosh he has to be absolutely MASSIVE x'D That is frightening.

quite interesting XD I guess it depends on how mean Tyre is feeling though on if he coughs a planet back up XD.
Planet Eater Serge could be a fun thought too... Mega Space Fish XD

Whoa now, pretty awesome, not gonna lie. Wasn't sure what to think on the whole planet eater thing, but the endo aspect of it really sold the idea. I wonder what all the people living inside him think about their situation :V .

Yeah, I seriously love the star-eating Tyre. XD
A bit different than what me and Liv have planned out for him, but this plot sounds interesting too. ^^
And... well, no matter the plot, a Tyre that big is worthy of admiration, and the pic is so epic and intense.

Yeah, this plot is.. VERY bizarre. I see it being kinda scary/creepy in parts.. blame me reading Junji Ito's "Hellstar Remina" for that one. |D; I'm quite curious to see the variant you and Liv did of him~
And moooost definitely. <3 I can't imagine him any other way. XD; Admiration.. or just a being that's MADE to be feared. In this verse, he's actually begun having denizens of the former planets he ate begin adopting him as their god. :I

Well, it was - for me - rather unrelated as I didn't know of this thing... but it still ended up with Tyre (and Brad) becoming massive, planet-eating beings... but with size-shifting, and for a "good cause"... so they mostly lead normal-ish lives and when duty calls have to go eat planets that are being corrupted by evil. <- Super short version of a way larger plot. XD
Yeah, it's definitely both awe- and fear-inspiring... XD but still looks too handsome for sheer terror. *is shot*
And I can see that... when you live INSIDE someone, you definitely know who's the most powerful being around... still, I guess he doesn't care too much for worshipers?

meoshira In reply to Osric09 [2014-07-29 22:19:17 +0000 UTC]
This is actually the first time I've heard of your variant.. though the size shifting is a fun device to use. X3 They must have a hell of a time keeping a normal life if devouring planets is so second-nature to them. Must make for some VERY awkward conversation if asked about their line of work. XD;
And the thing with the people "worshipping him as a deity for this.. he's completely oblivious to it. He's so huge that the people inside him are unrecognizable to him. The people inside him see him as many things - a god, a monster, an Eldritch Abomination, etc. So when he first hears Serge tell him this, he's more curious if anything. (And the reason he was able to notice the kid in him was not only because he spoke to him before he ate his planet, he happened to get REALLY lucky and catch Tyre by surprise.. and when the titan speaks to him, he's justifiably terrified out of his mind. XD)

Well, most people just wouldn't BELIEVE that they are the world-devourers in any case... but since in doing it they're basically "saving the universe"... it'd be like going around saying that you're really Superman or something like that. XD;
Still... being able to be bigger than all comprehension doesn't stop them from being the usual silly blokes. They're responsible when it comes to working, but use their powers to go around and explore worlds and stuff like that, with the utmost confidence of being the biggest, baddest stuff that is out there. XD
Yeah, I thought so... how would you even notice, after all?
And how does talking with Serge works? I mean... the difference in scale is just... insane.

meoshira In reply to Osric09 [2014-07-29 22:56:06 +0000 UTC]
The thing with Serge's race is they have pretty powerful voices, so he could project it ways that a human can't (their screams are their major forms of defense - capable of shattering stone if high/forceful enough).. but I'd think after a bit, the two wind up establishing a telepathic link with one another to communicate (thanks to some magic on Tyre's part). The first time Serge DOES wind up communicating to the titan, he does it verbally.. but it'd take a lot of strain on his voice to do so. If Tyre spoke verbally to him on his normal scale, he'd most likely kill the kid. XD; As for the noticing, from how I saw it.. it'd be akin to inhaling and catching a stray speck of dust in the air, which is KINDA what happens except Serge came from up his throat and got caught on a patch of skin inside his mouth.. and Tyre thought it was a speck of space dust or a landmass that got caught there. |D;

XD I get it... got noticed 'cause of being LOUD. UwU
And, yeah... I guess that a sound from a being THAT big would be way too strong... telepathy sounds better for it.

meoshira In reply to Osric09 [2014-07-29 23:06:32 +0000 UTC]
PFFT. XD Which is ironic in Serge's case since he's normally a very meek sort. Bit of suspension of disbelief for this one as well, too.
And aye, that's how Tyre normally speaks to him in this verse. Thought-speak. :3c Though the voice in the head is quite booming.. because it's Tyre, afterall~

Osric09 In reply to meoshira [2014-07-29 23:10:55 +0000 UTC]
Well, gotta suspend disbelief to appreciate the awesomeness. UwU
Yeah... there's a limit to how quiet Tyre can be, and the fact that he's the size of a galaxy doesn't help with that.

Thaaaat is true. XD;
And PFFFT, I could now imagine just a whisper is enough to make a city full of people permanently lose their hearing if he did it verbally. |D;

Osric09 In reply to meoshira [2014-07-29 23:26:31 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, it probably would be like that... and would shatter all the glass and stuff like that. XD; In the end, that's a size that is meant for badass, not really interaction. ... well, other than the fact that eating a place IS interacting with it, somehow. ^^'
The really scary thought is... if that's a whisper, what would be a trademark "Tyre's Roar"?

meoshira In reply to Osric09 [2014-07-29 23:31:22 +0000 UTC]
Badassery, fear, intimidation.. and most of all, an insatiable hunger. And just the thought of creatures living all inside inside him, and yet the big brute would never be full. And one of the images I wound up seeing is when he approaches a planet at night, the people below would notice a patch in the sky devoid of any stars, save for two, bright blue identical ones..
And a "Tyre Roar"? Most likely armageddon for that poor galaxy. :I

Osric09 In reply to meoshira [2014-07-29 23:41:04 +0000 UTC]
That... sounds kinda sad for him. And for those he ends up eating, of course... but still SO damn badass. It's really such an awesome thought, and visual image. XD
And, yeah... thought as much. xD It's what really causes supernovas, I guess.

meoshira In reply to Osric09 [2014-07-29 23:47:42 +0000 UTC]
Yeeeah, in this one, he's portrayed more sympathetically. Being a creature of pure power and hunger.. there's still that sting of loneliness, which is how he and Serge wind up bonding. (And in the drabble I was doing, Serge is the first one to know his true name and appearance, so the revelation blows his freaking MIND)
Supernovas.. or perhaps a Big Bang. :3c TEE HEE~

Osric09 In reply to meoshira [2014-07-29 23:51:20 +0000 UTC]
Yeah... if he were JUST power and hunger, he'd really be more like a monster. ;w; Still, never being able to be full must be quite a downer, even for a big eater like Tyre. ^^''
XD Well, to know how he looks like, you'd normally need to look from a few light-years away, I guess?

meoshira In reply to Osric09 [2014-07-29 23:54:48 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, insatiable hunger would be QUITE a bitch. T3T
And that's one way.. or unless you use a spell to show an image of yourself on a smaller scale. If one tried to look at him from his true scale, they'd be a speck of dust in his eye. That's just a downright SCARY thought.

Osric09 In reply to meoshira [2014-07-29 23:57:36 +0000 UTC]
Yup, definitely... nothing good comes from that... ;w;
Yeah, that's definitely one way to do it. XD Still I'd guess it'd be even LESS than a speck of dust... it's probably like a germ or something like that. ^^'

MWAHAHAHA~ YESSSS~ >3 you posted it!~ >//u//< this seriously came out SO epic...I love how the greyscale tone just gie it such a grim...yet majestic vibe. It's so peaceful...and yet I imagine those worlds must be in a state of extreme chaos right now.
I love it!~ >//w//<
Thank you again for this, m'dear! X3 Tyre thanks you as well...>3 he has way too much fun with that form TuT

Haaaah, I'm so glad you like it, m'dear. <3 And aye, the greyscale was the only way I felt this could work, since I see it as being both mysterious and awe-inspiring at the same time. As well as horrifying depending on the perspective you're looking at it from. XD;
And you're very welcome. X3 And I imagine Tyre would have a ball in this form. The planets are like mere candies to him.. what with pretty colours and patterns. :3c

Wow, this is incredible! The Prometheus soundtrack just adds so much more emotion and awe to the piece too.
I usually don't see this sort of super-macro-planet-eater scenario this well thought out and executed (and it's more... there for pleasure rather than plot) so I tend to pass the concept by, but I'm really intrigued with the way you've portrayed it.

Yeah, normally I tend to ignore those sorts of scenarios as well, but this one had the benefit of having endosoma tones as well.. because I seriously couldn't pass it up for this one. |3 And glad to know I could make something of this vein intriguing~
