...I figured that since last year was a bit of a JakxKeirayear for me ( four pictures + two fanvids), this year I'd instead pay attention to the slightly underappreciated Jak-canoncouple Tess and Daxter, since they provide many sunglimpses in the otherwise dark athmosphere of the second and third game- they're the raspberryplants among stinging nettles, the sunray through dark curtains, second star to the right and straight on till morning...uh...spring already? Meo is getting all silly and poetic...
Anyhow, I just wanted to draw Daxter bringing his love a sunflower, don't mind my ridiculously early spring mood

Yeah then sunflowers can get pretty tall. I don't know how big they get over there, but over here they can be as big as 10 to 15 feet or 3 and half to 4.57 meters.

Mostly they get only about two metres over here due to a quite short and usually half bad summer, though I've seen taller ones too- 2002 and 2003 we had almost tropical summers (still the best summers in my life), those years they were closer to 3 and a half

Yeah. And I'm pretty tall, aroung 5 feet and 7 to 8 inches. Those sun flowers where probably close to 9 or 10 feet. Twice as tall as me.

You're right, it's very underappreciated. It's adorable, this picture, especially the way Dax's ears are flopped back and he has that puppy-dog kind of begging look. I love it!
