I agree there's something about a deep blue I just love, I think they're meant to evoke a sense of calm...

To me, deep blue is a color which symbolizes power. but a quiet and reserved power. Kind of a color that has the ability to affect you, but is calm enough to choose to affect you.

hmmmm, I love the colour blue. Itβs so peaceful and inviting. In this piece it creates such an endless expanse that just draws you in. Itβs so beautiful, with the cool darkness of the near black stone and the hot white of sun. Reminds me of a beacon, drawing a rock dweller out of the comfort of his dark stony haven, and into the brilliants of the waterβs edge. A crab perhaps? Or turtle? He would be curious I think, yet at the same time cautious of a new world. Intrigued but frightened by the roar of the waves? At least, thatβs how this piece makes me feel. Drawing me in, I can imagine wandering along the rocks, amazed at the view, but constantly worried that I would slip on the wet rocks. It lovely <3 thank you for sharing your art with us ^^
