Debuting my finished Maka cosplay at Anime Evolution in Vancouver BC.This was taken after a long and eventful con so excuse the evident wear on the cosplay. XD;; I see you there con badge bombing my photo.
Looking through all our pics I realize that Maka pulls a lot of bitch faces.....I swear I'm really a nice person. lol.

I got it online from Land's End. That was awhile ago so no idea if they still carry it.

two layers of foam core. I got big sheets of it from Opus (an art store)

The material is already rigid. By layering them with some contact cement it makes the prop more durable. Make sure you store it flat so it doesn't warp over time.

I got the wig from Ebay. The scythe is made from foam core, doweling, piping, paper clay and acrylic paint. Epoxy and contact cement is your friend too.
