Joey's personality is easily described as the party-type snap back kid in middle school who never grew out of that phase. He's loud and energetic, but more than likely not in the best way possible. He's got a jock attitude at heart and can be overly blunt, saying every passing thought on his mind with absolutely no filter.

Joey was raised as a single child by a single father- who worked the best that he could selling roses on busy streets during traffic jams. The two resided in a small, concrete home where they'd take the little time they had together and play music for their residing neighbors (His father on the guitar, and Joey as the vocals). It wasn't long however until the duo caught the eye of a tourist, and a rather wealthy one at that. After a few months of interaction, Joey's father and his now stepmother packed up and made their way out of Latin america to his stepmother's rather large and wealthy estate. From then on the Hydreigon sat in the lap of luxury, and found it rather comfortable there with all the designer clothes, and not to mention an upper class school as well.
