CAF= Commemorative Air Force. The Wichita Flight Festival at Jabara Airport recently provided lots of opportunities for me to shoot photos at an "air-show." I haven't done that since the days of 35 mm photography with real film. (Back in the day.) I used my my telephoto lens mostly and, while it's not high quality glass, and my Canon camera is only moderately priced, I was pleased with the results. I took 1330 photos altogether and edited them down to 390. Along with this, a very few of my better photos can be found in this album. snowleopard59.deviantart.com/g… I believe most of the Japanese planes are "replicas" using old AT-6's and such. Many of the planes were used in movies about Pearl Harbor. For the Tora, Tora, Tora portion, there was simulated bombing and strafing runs with lots of really effective ground explosions set-off simultaneous to the planes passing by.
