Description It's been a while since I've done any fanart at all--it's probably been at LEAST a year! This year I've finally sucked it up and tried to do some. This is a rough sketch of Usagi from Sailormoon. She will be transformed into a poster for CN Anime '06. I'll post the next stages as I go along

Any input is welcome! I have slightly changed her dress, because I just like doing that!

Well Prax and I decided to do fanart this year and SM just came to mind since I used to draw it all too often. If you mean inspiration with the whole pose/feel of it... I am unsure lol When I think of Princess Usagi that's how I think of her. Always emotional in some way--some gloomy sad type of way.

her hair and her eyes look a smidge uneven, but that could just be because everything's still sketchy. and even that looks great anyway~ :]
really, it looks fantastic so far! i really love how it's in your own style, instead of just a copy. the rose looks so pretty too! i can't wait to see the finished product.

Hehe yeah you're right they are uneven. I realized that after I had scanned it. Everything will be fixed once I start inking it. I also have to move her meatballs a bit lower too. The rose is supposed to be falling apart slightly but I was too lazy to show it in the sketch XD .... I was more concerned with her.
