Crochet Octopi, in seafoam green. He's got barnacles (snicker)about 3.5" tall. 7.5" tentacle to tentacle.

As you might know from me noting you, I am having a crochet contest! I will asign each of the crocheters one animal to make. You will send me pictures of the animal you created and I will pick witch one(s) I like the best. You WILL get a reward! The reward will be a secret until the end of the contest. I couldn't find a good pattern, so I had to make one myself. You can buy it if you want from Etsy for 5 bucks. I haven't put it up for sale yet, but I will if you request it.

Totally retro. Ties behind the neck and around the waist (thick waistband, please), sweetheart neckline, and ruffles. plenty of ruffles. haha! could you have it ready by August when I come visit? I can bring you your octopus (or if you want another animal, something can be arranged)? I need it this fall for classes. I've got two printmaking classes and a painting class. I don't want to mess up my clothes, normally I wouldn't care but I can only wear skirts and dresses at the moment because of the problems I'm having with my knees, and I don't want paint and ink all over my dresses.
