I fell off the face of the earth...again...
I'm just getting so scared about re-entering all of the things I've abandoned on the interwebs ; 3 ;
I miss this community and my mermaid club and everything. I don't even know if ~Mermafied even exits anymore cuz I've been too scared to show my faice in the forums >.<
such is the story of my life.
anyhoo, I did this a few weeks ago and am just now posting it 0.o I just hope you guys like it :3
overall, i think this design works for a kilin, but does anyone know what kind of head they're supposed to have? cuz I've seen them with dragony heads like this one, but also deer, horses, goats, and pretty my everything else >.< and I know they're technically the "japanese unicorn" but I've seen them with 2 horns and thought, ta hell wiff it. and just went to town :3

While the KiLin/Kirin/Quilin is the Eastern equivalent of unicorns they usually have two horns. I'm not sure what kind of head they have (it varies a lot), but the one on the bottles of Kirin beer has a dragon head.
ANYWAYS I really enjoy this. I've missed your colored pen drawings, they're pretty neat. I love all the textures in the hair and scales and everything.

I know >.< the KiLin varies SO MUCH even by mythological/fantasy standards.
