Why thank yew! I used the end of a sharpie marker and "molded" the clay around it. The more firm the clay, the easier it is to make. I find Sculpey way too soft for cups and plates. The best white clay I have found for it is Fimo Classic.

thank you so much! i've tried to make cups a few times and they turn out horrendously do you construct the handle etc while it's still on the sharpie or use some other method to keep its shape?
