When I saw this contest at #PremiumMembers , I took a step back and shot my office exactly as it is, complete with coffee, snacks, and boxes waiting to be unpacked. XD This is my new epic workspace at my awesome new house. My desk is always a mess, and there's always at least one mug of coffee there. I surround myself with action figures because they inspire me. There are two action figure casualties on my desk, which took nosedives off the shelf and need to be repaired. lol, mine's only this "neat" because all my unsorted papers are in boxes at the moment. I'll have to go through them some day!

It was supposed to be a joke. You see I was trying to imply that the figures were cheap because there's no assembly required.

There were some heavily armored Evas in the "Evangelion 2" PS2 game, which became known as F-Type Experimental Armor. I think Unit 01 even had a giant chain saw. XD

Cool. I have a lot of "action figures"... though, they're all in their original packagings...packages... packe... things. Keeps off the dust and makes 'm easy to hang.

I feel like my action figures are more like sculpture, and should be viewed "in the round" rather than in the package. Even though I know it totally destroys their valute. ^_^;;;
The other computer is actually my fiancee's, he uses it for gaming.

I was working on a pencil test for Marvel when I accidentally stumbled upon the Hasbro deal.
I was healing a group in World of Warcraft and accidentally found that the tank in my group was the Creative Director for Hasbro Star Wars, and he was looking for a comic-book style for their new line of toys.
He gave me his e-mail, I sent him a Star Wars portfolio in about three days, he e-mailed back and called me, then hired me. Hasbro mailed me the contract that afternoon, I signed it and e-mailed it back, and I was in.
You never, ever know who you're talking to...! I guess that's my best lesson!

There are usually pretty affordable drafting table sets you can get at art stores, like $150 for table, chair, lamp and side tray. This is the first place I've lived where I've had enough room for one!

Well with my pathetic paychecks only being able to work 2 days and going to class 5 days a week I can't afford anything right now. I'm still trying to pay off the books and art supplies I had to buy for my classes and my bills. So it blows.

Yeah, that's about half my collection, I think. Another quarter of them are in the living room, and then there's a quarter of them that I haven't unpacked yet... not sure where they're going to go. ^_^; I actually get a lot of inspiration from them, so I like having them visible where I'm working. ^_^

I loved it! I love how close they're sticking to the manga, and I think MadHouse has brought a new level of quality to it; it was already really slick, but now it's got an extra element of polish to it. I can't wait for OVA IX!
